Privacy of Our Customers

This statement sets out our company policy regarding the safeguarding of any information collected from our customers. We are a limited company registered under UK law, and as such are bound by the Data Protection Act 1998. We also know that our customers value their privacy, and we will never abuse the trust we that we develop with them.

Necessary Data

In order to trade with a customer we obviously need to know how to communicate with the customer about their order, where to post the order to, as well as needing to receive payment for the goods sold. A history of the transaction is then kept in order to improve on future services to our customers. This does not include credit or debt card details, which are not stored by Pegasus Fitness.

Credit/Debit Card Details

When a customer purchases from our company and pays via credit/debit card, the details of the credit/debit card are processed by Protx, a leading UK payment service provider. Your credit/debit card details are entered onto the Pegasus website and automatically sent directly to Protx for processing. The details are sent over a secure socket layer and are therefore safe from being copied by outsiders. They are not collected and stored by Pegasus Fitness. Details given by any other means (such as over the phone) will be destroyed immediatley after the transaction is concluded.

Use of Data

We will never give or sell your personal details to any third party. Any information that is collected on this website is for the following purposes only:

1. To communicate with you and be able to deliver your purchase safely.
2. To be able to collect payment via a secure payment service provider.
3. To be able to conduct direct marketing with customers who chose to allow us to do so.
4. To be able to conduct statistical analysis in order to aid future strategic decision making.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a tiny text file that is stored on your computer's hard drive. It is used to keep track of a customer's shopping cart and collect information about a user's operating system, IP address and pages visited. This information is used to improve the website and cannot be used to identify you.

Direct Marketing

Pegasus Fitness will only contact you with information that you have requested. If you do not wish to receive information about new products, special offers or receive a newsletter then please opt-out of this on the relevant page. If you are already on our mailing list, and wish to be removed, then simply email our staff at support@pegasusfitness.co.uk and tell us.

Disclosures

As previously stated, we will never sell, trade, rent or give your details to any third parties. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, then contact us at support@pegasusfitness.co.uk and inform us of your wishes.
